Where to Stay in Iguazú

When visiting the Iguazú Waterfalls you can choose your accommodation among the outstanding options available both, at the Brazilian, as well as on the Argentine side of the Iguazú National Park.

The Sheraton Hotel Iguazú is the only lodging facility located within the Park. Breathtaking views of the waterfalls are available from almost every room in the hotel and, while rates are on the expensive side, it does save some traveling time everyday –since the waterfalls are only a few minutes walking time away- and thus the stay can be shortened.

Accommodation options outside the Iguazú National Park are, however, still a very good option. Most of them are only a 10 to 15 minutes drive from the Waterfalls and, in many cases, offer a much closer encounter with the local culture and traditions.
On the Brazilian side you are more likely to find “all-inclusive” modern hotels, with big swimming pools, continental breakfast and everything you expect to find in such facilities, but at very competitive prices.
On the other hand, hotels and lodges at the argentine side are often smaller and conserve the original “guaraní” style –typical for the region-, offering a richer and warmer cultural experience.
