Getting to Mendoza

Aerolineas Argentinas, Austral and LAN operate daily flights to Mendoza. The flight takes a little less than 2 hours, and then you have an approximately 20 minute drive from the airport to the city. Both, taxis and mini-buses are readily available at the airport, as well as a regular bus that will take you to the city for as little as ARS1,10 (about $0,35) If you are willing to plan your trip in advance, you can achieve significant savings, by buying the ticket before leaving your country. By Bus:

The trip from Buenos Aires to Mendoza takes about 14 hours. You can buy your ticket at the Bus Terminal in the Retiro neighbourhood (Avenida Ramos Mejía 1680) [ ] , by phone or directly at any of the company’s websites. For such long trips, it is advisable to book a night bus with so-called “bed-seats”; the ticket will be a little more expensive, but you will have a pleasant drive secured.

By Train:

Unfortunately, there is no train service connecting Buenos Aires and Mendoza at the moment.
