Getting to Iruya

Iruya is located at the end of Route 133, 77km north of Humahuaca. Regular bus services cover the route Humahuaca-Iruya several times a day, with service frequency varying according to demand.
It is not unusual for buses to be full-booked during summer time (December to March) -even though additional services are added-, so it is advisable to buy your ticket at least a day in advance.
